The All Progressives Congress (APC) has slated its local government congresses for September 4, 2021.
Secretary of the APC Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee, Sen John James Akpkanudoedehe, announced this in a statement.
According to the statement, the sale of nomination forms is ongoing.
Daily Trust reports that the party would conduct state congresses after the LG congresses, as processes leading to the party’s national convention.
Recall that the party recently conducted its ward congresses which was characterised by irregularities and crisis in some states.
